Played this years ago and always loved it. Just recently finished the iPhone version, and will be giving Riven another shot in a few weeks. Epic games. If you don't agree then you need to take your opinion back to where you bought it from.

Found the trilogy (Myst, Riven and Exile?) in the attic the other week. Have been thinking about installing it on the pc but i remember how much time it consumed. Epic games though.

Got Myst on the iPhone, but haven't really done much with it yet. The whole Cyan Worlds (sp?) collection is available dirt cheap on Steam at the moment, Royston....

Myst is hard. Riven was harder, and I gave up on Exile - SRS obscure puzzles that make Myst look easy.

Myst on iPhone is actually really really good. The touch interface works really well. Well worth buying.

Yeah I know what you mean. I had forgotten almost all of it. Only when solving a puzzle did I think "ahhh yeah you sneaky c***s".

Brilliant getting paid to do f**k all game.

Was and is a very good game. I could never figure it out though as I was only a wee nipper... Have it still on Playstation so might give it a bash this weekend.

The iPhone version also has a nice in-app links section to a very good Q&A based hints guide. You can choose subtle hints, all the way up to full-on spoilers. I used it once or twice but only to reveal SRS obscure game mechanics, not to reveal any hints at solving the puzzles. Example - the wooden sheds leading to the tree tops - close the f**king door before pulling the lever!

You need an internet connection for it to work though (the in-app hint guide).
