N73 Problem

Time resets whenever I turn of the phone, any ideas?

Done, many many times, now running the N73 Music software.

Not sure of the problem. But cant you back the phone up onto your mem card than you can do an update check using pc suite & data cable and put latest software on.

Phone works 100% perfect, faultless apart from the time thing, all i did was change the product code so i did not have to use the crappy 02 software. But it's worked fine like this for ages.

My N95 has been doing this now for 2 weeks, when I get round to it I will re-install the software (again). Piece of shite, amazingly people pay £250+ for these secondhand! Most unreliable phone I have ever owned, good mind to take it back (its only 2 months old).

I never switched it on, and when i did to try it never worked anyway.

that means the small watch battery inside the phone is fucked

Thing is i may have dropped this phone into a cup of coffee and got it very very wet in the rain (water in screen) but still worked fine for few months after, reckon i'll get it fixed lol?

i recon the small watch battery in the phone which keeps everything running when the mains battery is not in, is fooked.

most things electrical that hold the time and other things have a backup power supply. normally a small battery

Im going to try reinstalling the software on mine again.

I just turned mine on and off plugged into the mains and it still lost the date and time so something deffo not right.
