n80 firmware + handset unlock code

Just got my unlock code through from orange for my n80.

However, i want to upgrade the firmware soonish. If i unlock my phone, will the firmware lock it back up ? If so, can i just use the code again to unlock it ??

Depends what you use to upgrade your firmware.

If you use the nokia updater (n80 isnt supported yet) then it will relock it.

Do you think im better to update the firmware first then use the unlock code for the first time ?

No if you have the code it will work even after you update.

However you'll have to keep using orange specific firmware.
The only real answer is to get it updated with generic firmware and see.
