Name my new noise!

This is a new one to appear recently on my Cup....oh the joy.

Its a squeeking noise that only happens on start up from cold and it increases with revs but it disappears when the clutch is depressed.

Am i right in thinking its the release bearing? If so....how much is a new clutch?

prop the realse bearing yes, mine used to do it on cold mornings,

new clutch should be around £350, but imo live with it LOL

Exactly the same thing as mine, mine started about year and a half ago, finally collapsed a few weeks back! Stick with it, doesn't harm it, just the noise!

Ahh right. Thanks for the info gents....guess i'll just put up with it for the time being!
Its only doing when its cold so it not like its all the time.
