Probably not.
Only applies to policy holder only normally.
Also, remember that you only get 3rd party cover and is only really meant to be used in "emergency" situations.
im with quinn and dont even see it in the book :S
On my Quinn direct policy i'm allowed to drive other cars even tho i'm under 25. but just wondering are the named drivers on my policy also allowed to drive other cars ??
Cheers.
Does your dad not have his own policy in his name ?? If he does could do it under that (if he's allowed to, it'll be in his policy details)Probably not.

Yer i know its just 3rd party but wasnt aware it was for "emergency" use.
Only really use it to drive my friends cars when they cant be botherd to drive any more. but my dads on my policy so was just wondering if he could drive say my mums car.
Are you sure, as most are very strict on this 25 years old stuff, some don't do it at all anymore.

The fact that he's named on yours doesn't come into it.

I think it's unlikely being a named driver on your policy will give him cover to drive other vehicles tbh. I'd agree that it's also highly unlikely that you are covered to drive other vehicles being under 25. How about actually ringing Quinn and asking rather than asking people to make assumptions on the forum, or is that too straight forward?
Thats too "straight forward" at 23:30 at night , Its all clear now after ringing them. I'm cover to drive other cars on a 3rd party basis only if that said car has a insureance policy on it, But my named drivers are not.
my gf is only 18 and she has it on her bell policy, only 35 extra and there is no mention of emergency use only.
three of my friends are insured with quinn and yes you are allowed to drive other peoples cars without paying extra, you get it even if you are only tpft yourself as well
