Nankang NS2-R 100 COMP?

Anyone used this compound? Picked up a used set recently and cant find a shred of info online how they perform, the 100 is competition compound but no idea on performance. I know the 180's are a bit gash but to be expected being so hard and a road/track tyre similar to the AD08R. I ask as I wont bother carting around my other set of track wheels with Avon ZZR/Kumho V70 tyres if these are decent.

@plees do I remember you had a set on your 172 when we met up at Oulton a few years back?

They were 80 compound from the civic cup if I remember correctly.

Yeah the 80/100 compounds were the same just depended what size tyre. Think he rated them if I remember, he said they wore quickly I think.

I've got the 80 compound on my track wheels and they warm up quick. Not driven on the 'street' (120) compound so can't say how they compare

Don't know if they even sell the 80/100 compound anymore?

Think they stopped selling the 80/100 to the public in 2016, however you can still get them for competition in certain race series like the fun cup.

Ah that's good then. They used to be the cheapest tyre around, I tried to get as many as possible but people stopped selling them so I only managed to get 6

I've looked into giti now as they seem reasonably priced
