Right, first of all. Cadwell is a great circuit. for cars and bikes. However it is increasingly dangerous whilst racing as you can tell.
The reason it caught fire was its an early 8v gti k-jet motor (the only 1 on the grid) and the fuel metering head is located front drivers side of car and it got completely ripped off the fuel lines .
Both drivers were ok. suprisingly. Very lucky sure Pete had double side bars otherwise would have been nastier.
this is another golf crash at cadwell. from the same weekend in 2010 i think
and mine from mallory 2009
shame 1 got rather a good hairpin and leave camera car for dust.
same as the cadwell vids I got pushed on left had side grass, overcorrected and went 75mph into end of pitlane :dead:
