Yeah me too seb, tbh I never have any disconnects really but I moved house earlier this year and they 'inadvertantly' put me down to Silver. I rang up to complain and they upgraded me to Gold again, however I didn't realise at the time that they had started me on a new 12 month contract! b******s!
So I got 3 wireless routers out of them! lol! :rasp:

Im with eclipse who have a fair usage policy but to be honest downloaded 400+gigs before in a month and had nothing from them. And since i use private torrent group i have to seed back the same to 1:1 so no problems with them and im using masses of bandwidth.
Speeds are good customer support is great as well. Cant see me changing from them.

Dunno, but I have gone from 5 meg down to 512k!!!!!!!!!
Limits apply from 6pm to 12 midnight.
I'm really pissed off. I'm paying £35 a month for what I though was truly unlimited broadband.
Christ, if I wanted a broadband supplier with a fair usage policy, I would have stayed with tiscali for £15 amonth!

I got BT total broadband option 3 unlimmited. Had problems with a duff hub to begin with which I still aint sent back hahahaha
But now it works fine.... appart from my internet phone but I dont use that anyway lol

Up until February mate, AOl was a real ISP. It was the only ISP to offer truly unlimited broadband. I havn't had one problem with AOL until today. So, take your "Real ISP" comments and stick them up your arse.

Dunno Im paying for unlimited and Ive downloaded gig's worth of stuff on my PC, the girlfriends always on her laptop, I work at home so Im VPN'ed into work all day plus it has a hammering from my girlfriends 2 kids, and I got 2 360's on live and not had any sort of limitation.....

When they were NTL... I exceeded my then 1GB per day limit by about 4GB's, every day, for about a week. They sent me a letter telling me that i was a "naughty, naughty boy" and that I should "try to refrain from using so much bandwidth".

My only 2 recommendations are

and
https://www.bethere.co.uk/
Both offer good high speed unlimited connections. Eclipse has a fair use policy but to be honest they dont enforce it. Both me and a few friends have eclipse and no one has ever had a problem even shifting huge amounts of data keeping it completely maxed for days during large file transfers.
Keep hearing bethere are good though and they have 24mbit which made me think of changing to them.
