NEED A FUEL PUMP !

hi im looking for an external fuel pump for my k reg 16v as i hit something in the middle of the road and it snapped the little bracket off which holds the pipe on the pump going into the fuel tank,

my mechanic told me they only made 16vs with the external pumps on for 2 years then they changed them to all internal is this true?

please help !

Yeah,

Only the early ones came with the reserve pump on the outside.

I should have one but its promised to someone else if he still wants it?
