NEED HELP AND INFO ASAP PLEASEEEE !

Hi guys,

recently fitted a new gear box to my clio 172 cup. the gearbox i bought was not from a cup model therefore did not have the hole for the sensor, due to this the speedo and milage guage does not work. I have been told by a friend to get an ABS sensor which he can rewire to the car to make the speedo work.

My question is... if he re-wires in the ABS sensor, will this work the milage gauge aswell? If not do you have suggestion as to what else i can do to make this work again?

I don't see why not, my understanding is the FF takes both the mileage and speed from the ABS ring which your cup has anyway, so if he can add a sensor an rewire it to that then should work?
