need HELP asap! (ice install!)

Just been tearing my car apart to fit my new alpine x100 to find the following problems:

- my glove box has no hole (like people said it should) to feed the ipod wire through.. should i just drill one?!

- the steering stalk control adaptor i bought seems to be the wrong model or im fitting it wrong, as i have no idea where its menna fikkin go!

Cars in pieces atm really just wnna get this all fitted!

Hey guys. new ICE has been wired up. Took me nearly 4 hours but it was worth it as im 100% done a proper decent job.

Now to just find that pesky steering wheel adaptor!

No i dremeled it. Cut a square the exact size i needed.

I have my cable fed to under the little 'ash tray' which removes with a simple little pull. under there ive fed the cable to my USB. i dont need to touch that unless i wanna update it. little different from the ipod. but just a suggestion

Yeh i had my last headunit wire coming out from there, but that was because it was just a normal AUX in so the ipod had to be in a place where it could be used at any time. Since this one allows you to control everything from the headunit i decided to put it in the glove box, as the ipod isnt completely hidden in the ash tray and tends to stick out a bit.

Fancy putting up some pics mate? would love to see it! What have you done with stalk adapter? I take it you removed standard Renault one, and that your set up doesn't work with dash display?...

that drill looks a bit flash too! can it drill through most substances?

Well i have the stalk adaptor, just need one more wire to make it work as i bought a wrong part. Ill get some pics up soonish hopefully.

I have two holes right in the top of the gloveback. One is where some models have a light and the other I don't know. Pretty much right at the front on the top.

Well mine has been dremeled into the back far right corner so you cant see it unless you are a very nosey passanger! lol
