i think ive seen them on some posts, normally coloured!

i think they look awesome, can see where the name turbines comes from, especially working for rolls-royce!
i need some, is the fitment the same for a mk2 ph2?

you may wanna use a spacer to make it fill the arch nicer, but yes they'll go straight on. see JLO for pics on them on a mk2 ph2

Sorry if that came across as ignorant, didnt mean it to be..

Just thought he seen the pics and asked here straight away instead of reading...

Nice wee wheel, but Bigger is Better when it comes to rims, hence me selling my 18" Matirx alloys for a set of 19" special order ;) (hard as a wh0res heart to drive on, but its all about style with me :) )

Might know of a set lying on a motor near me, but that would mean postage, or coming over on the ferry and picking them up at the ferry terminal at least..

Shall let you know if your that keen..

@ Middo: I like to drive my motor too, in saying that, i like to do it in style (sacrifice of comfort, but hell, its worth it.. lol).

Speaking of which, can you recommend a top quality set of Clio Coilovers (Willing to spend the £££ if they are worth it

Cheers

your best just using the wanted section, as loads of people should have some. expect to pay around fifty quid in desperate need of a refurb. no point paying top dollar when they're gonna be refurbed properly.

for a non-sport:

fk coilovers ive found are excellent for 425.
fk konigsports (damper adjustable) for 499.
fk silverlines i think 50quid on top of each of the above prices

h&r's are 630 iirc

then you'll need them fitted, and laser aligned

Fitting shall be done by me, but dont think a Lazer Pen will do the second job your on about.. lol

Shall look into the H&R's..

Cheers
Nicky

(sorry about the hi-jack :) )

not keen on lexus lights but apart from that i like it!
its a marmite car, but works for me, like the colour alot!

all i'd do is get a rear splitter to make the back look a bit lower! 19's are going to be insane!

part of me likes the big rims, but i want to slam my car on coilovers, and with 17's+, maybe even 16's, will probably need the arches doing, but keeping on 15's should make it easy!

Not a fan of the lights now myself..

Getting new bumpers and rims, and the suspension for her soon, and il hopefully be able to find a set of chrome LED rear clusters.. Want chrome, as i dont think Red or Black lights suit it...?

hmm, lights are a problem really, personally i don't think chrome will go with the colour, but can't tell until they're on!

post some more pics up when its done, will look awesome! i love that colour, its one that would only suit a modded car, think it works really well with it being a clio aswell!

with mine, i plan to slam it, colour the badges and rims the same colour, tinit it, and then some skirts and maybe a front splitter!
just saw the turbines on the R5 on ebay and thought they would look awesome! i know a lot of people probably won't agree but it will make it different and I will be happy :p

where abouts you from mate, slow assed clio, you mentioned ferry crossing on the other post...?

Yeah, im from Northern Ireland.. Not far from Belfast to be a bit more precise.. lol

If i can get hold of the rims, they could be couriered over, or you could get a ferry to any of the Belfast/Larne ports for £15 or so return and get them yourself, as opposed to £50+ for courier...?

Sounds like you have a few plans for your Clio, so keep updating at each stage of the process.. Its good to get a progress diary going, even for your own pleasure :)

The colour im usuing is actually a standarn Alfa Romeo colour, with the top layer applied slightly thicker than what AR apply it, to give it more of a pearl/flip effect :)

The car i seen them on has been lying for a long while.. Its a white Mk1 with what can only be described as a garden on the roof (Moss, due to lying up so long.. lol)

Havent inspected them too close, as i have only seen them on the car in the corner of the garden going into the fellas yard or driving past..

Shall let you know :)

sorry mate, just reread your post and saw the word 'if', in all my excitement i read it too fast!
yeh, my plans are to make it nice but not chav it up!
i love slammed cars, think less ground clearance the better, and as for the wheels and badges just want to make it a bit different from other clio's around here, add my personal touch!
i know there are some people on here who have done it, but personally have never seen one in the flesh, so the odds of me being the only one in my area are quite good!!!
