need help with plenham polishing?

planning to polish some of the engine compenents such as plenham.

mainly what do I need? How should apply it? Do I need a dremel like polishing bits? I have a rough idea about emery papers i.e different sizes such as 200, 400, 800. What else do I need to get a mirror-like surface finish.

you will want some finer wet and dry such as 1000/1500, also some autosol about £4.50 for a tube
