Need some advice!!

Hi guys, I've got a bog standard 52 plate phase 2 1.2 16v blue clio. I need to know what I can do to it to make it look nice but suttle. I was possibly thinking deep dish, cat back exhaust, possibly coily's, grill whatever really. what do you think would look good as I dont want to make it look shitty and chavved up and I know a lot of people have done it wrong but I want to do it right? Sensible answers please.

Id probably lower it at bit, put some 182 alloys on and maybe upgrade the exhuast.

182 alloys are the alooy wheels from a 182 clio. they are 16inch and come in 2 colors: standard and anthracite. imo anthracite looks better.

I wouldn't spend too much buddy. Try and get some used parts if you can to save some money. There are always loads of things on here that come up.

I would go for some Renault Sport wheels. Maybe 15" OZ F1's. lower it on eibach sport lines or maybe some cheap ish coilovers. Wouldn't go for a big obvious tailpipe on an exhaust, it is the quickest way to make it look chavved up. Then maybe look at some colour coding. Colour coding needs to be done well tho otherwise it can look a bit cheap.

It will look really subtle if you leave it as is! I would agree with Will, get secondhand bits and save some pennies as you wont get the money back when you sell with 1.2. Little touches always help, like changing the front bumper grills for 172 ones, lowering and wheels is always good, and some decent colour coding.

When you say colour coding, what do you mean?

He means the black plastic on your bumpers and doors - paint them the same colour as your car. Makes a massive difference

Oh right thanks. Well I've kinda decided what I'm going to do. I'm going to colour code the plastic on the sides and wingmirror. New clio sport front and rear bumper as it looks like a dodgem car atm. I've bought some 16"" oz racing super turismo gt's and gonna put a front splitter on as I have one already and maybe lower it a touch
