Need some opinions

  BMW F31
ok, so i had a little "incident" involving a passat recently, need to get resprayed, wing, bonnet, grill and bumper.

now i need peoples opinions on whether i should get the front bumper colour coded at the same time, as well as the rear bumper and spoiler?

i just cant make my mind up whether it'll look good or not?

here's the car below, it looks basically the same now but with a cracked wing :(

Cheers

^^ see thats my problem, i cant decide lol, i like it with the black to break it up, but then i think colour coded would look good too.

i also have some ph2 side strips on now with some 16v badges, (cheers Rich) which i think could look good completely colour coded, then highlight the 16v in silver.

^^ cheers :)

any other opinions?

i haven't seen any other clio's my shape or colour fully colour coded so its difficult to imagine it.

on your colour you could get away with it being fully colour coded because it is dark, whereas on silver i think it looks to much and needs black to break it up. maybe you could do the spoiler and the door handles and leave the side strips and bits on the bumpers?

Hi Millsy. :)

I like yours as it is, but I also reckon it'd look good colour coded.

Now I know my clio isn't the same MK or colour, but as an example here's mine colour coded. It too, had black bump strips all round before.

i was also thinking this could look pretty good, i'd like to get the handles and spoiler done, think it would be best of both, bit of colour coding, but still some black to break it up too.

hmm, any kind person fancy doing a photoshop on the top pic, colour coded then maybe just the handles, also want to repsray the wheels in a colour between silver and anthracite, e.g not as dark as anthracite but not as light as silver.

If you keep up the back to black leave it, else easy decision and colour code!

oh i was thinking if i leave the black bits on the bumpers etc what about colour coding the fog light surrounds?

I saw a technique where someone lacquered the black plastic as it was?

So you could get a shine off the trim, it'd still break up the colour but you wouldnt have the hassle of back to blacking..

I like it with the black. Get them sprayed matt black so you dont have to keep using back to black.

^^ cheers timmay, just couldn't decide what to do.

think i'm going to colour code the spoiler handles and fog light surrounds to start with, then if i think it needs more i might get the bumpers and side strips sorted.

Keep them black imo.

I'd say most ph1s look better with some black to break them up.

Here's a c/c one
