Need to find permanant live

May seem a simple thing, just run a wire to the battery. But I cant find any holes or anything to push a wire through from the interior to the battery. Thought of going upto the interior light, but thats just a nightmare getting the roof lining away from the roof. Anyone know where I can get an easy accessible live wire? Right now Im connected to the fag lighter, but that only becomes live when the ignition is on

depends how mcuh power you want to draw but there is a permanent feed going to the switches in the doors that turn the interior light on when opened.

go to the back of the stereo there is a permanent live there sorry cant remember what colour the wire is (keeps the stations in the memory)

Its not that much power, takes 12v feed and has a 5amp fuse. Will look at back of stereo tomorrow. Cheers

The ignition barrel has a constant 12 volt supply.

follow the bonnet pull wire it goes through a rubber bung cut one side of it off thats were the alarm loom goes through on the 172,182 get a torch lay on p/side floor and look up behind dash

Its all sorted now. Wired everything upto the rear interior boot light. Works perfectly and just incase I forget to turn off my leds, the car shuts them down 15 - 20 mins later
