Need your help - passenger electric window

Hi Guys & Gals,
Thought i'd come on here to try and solve a problem with the other halfs car. Basically the passenger side electric window doesn't work. Now ive been down the scrap yard and put a new electric motor in, switch and a new loom. However it still doesn't work. There is the chance that the motor from the scrapyard was also broken but the chances are slim. Would there be anything else that i might need to check?
(drivers window works fine!)

Also the car has problems starting and sometimes goes flat. Im going to put a new battery on and put some new sparkplugs in. However im also concerned that something isn't right here also.

Any help would be greatfully appreciated.

Forgot to mention the car is a 1.4rt (M-reg)

invest in a multimeter, saves time swapping components that may/may not be broken. You can test for power (volts) and also the wires continuity by resistance (ohms). I have almost the same problem.

1997 R plate RT

The drivers switch lowers the window.... but doesnt raise it (unless u press the buton hard...)
The passengers switch lowers and raises the window (REALLY SLOWLY)


Dunno what it is.... well, I do... its RENAULT, but I dunno how to solve it
