Needed: Rocker ratio for F4R...

Hi guys/girls from New Zealand - I am having a set of standard cams reprofiled to CatCam 421 specs - but the cam shop needs the rocker ratio (expects it to be in vicinity of ~1.7..)

Help very much appreciated!!

erm, just buy 421's?

you'd think but (a) total of 200 quid versus ~600 for CatCams but mostly (b) will ultimately use CatCam 422's when rebuild with hc pistons, etc, etc...

In the meantime, do you know the rocker ratio?

calculate it.

Take cat 420 figures as standard, measure the lift of the standard cam without a rocker, and calculate the ratio

I think you're opening a can of worms there, it won't be that straightforward with the rollers.
