Needing abit of shopping help

Iam going to be ordering some things again i was needing some help on what to buy.Iam really just needing some microfiber cloths so whats the best ones to go for?I have Poorboys DTM cloths which are great and Cobra guzzler drying cloth which is even better.I have enough wax for the moment so I may be buying some clay bars so whats the best ones I have tryed sonus green iam pleased with the but find it abit weak up against the tar

Clay - you shouldn't do it that often as even with great care it will either induce fine swirls or else just remove protection and leave it looking a bit worse. Sonus Green is designed to remoe very fine contaminants, if you are looking for something a bit stronger I would go for a grey bar - they all seem pretty similar really. Wouldn't bother buying any special clay bar lube if you haven't already though as you can easilly make your own which works just as well.

Microfibers - again, don't seem that much difference between them really. I just normally tack a pack on each time I order from somewhere as like using new ones. Sonus ones are pretty good but even unbranded ones are good too. I prefer the plushest ones - but good to have a selection for different things, e.g. a fine weave for windows and buffing off plastic, thick weave for removing waxes.

Yeh I find it works better I used megs high tech shampoo and it works a treat

for clay, the best ive found is the clean your car yellow stuff, bargain aswell, it can tackle some pretty bad stuff and doesnt seem to leave any marks as long as your well lubed

for cloths id get Sonus or the Poorboys orange ones

Iam going for sonus der wunder cloths for clean your car its my 3rd order in 3 weeks

The Poorboys DMT's are nice towels, I use them for polish removal and then use Micropak Ultra Plushes for Quick Detailing and then the Sonus Der Wunder Towels for Waxes.

On Tar I would use a decent tar remover rather than try and shear it off with clay.

for buffing use serious performance monster fluffys they are the best without doubt i have sonus/CG and these things are twice the thickness, like an egyptian carpet compared to laminate flooring

Having never used a glaze before how do i go about doing it?Ive been looking on DW and apparently its oily?

The #7 can be a right pain in the arse to use, I would not even go there at this time of year unless inside. It normally takes a few passes to remove, best is to use two towels, use one to remove the majority of it and then another to remove the left overs and give a final buff. The towels will soon load up with products so worth changing them when they do to some clean ones as the removal will be easier with them.

The upside is the Show Car Glaze will give a decent finish, though it's oily nature means sealants over it are a no no, more of a summer beauty product.

Is it best to apply it thinly?I hear is dosnt really dry but has a skin?

The sticky nature of it makes it hard to get really thin, but that is the ideal situation. As you remove some it - it is like you remove the top layer and then it re dries. It is a finiky product to use thats for sure. Pushes my patience so have turned to easier to use glazes, problem is most are not pure like the #7 which is the main plus to it.

Should add nicely to the looks. Though since finding Menzerna Final Finish and using the PC it does not add anything much to well polished paint, I used to notice the difference when looking after my old Pugs by hand.

I have got super light swirls on my car alto ive been super careful its still happens which is annoying

if you want a glaze that will also help with light swirls, vanilla moose glaze is what you want
