Im in the market for a set of coilovers but fcuk me im confused theres so many choices and opinions going about this make that make and the other make I dont know which to go with ??

Im not gonna be on a great deal of track days but I like a nice sunday drive on the country roads if u get me

I dont think i can justify £1200 for the AST's but I suppose £600-£700 would be a fair enough price.

So with all that said which in your opinion is the best product for me ?

Please help before I go nucking futs ... cheers :)

Have you considered sportline springs with uprated dampers?? Handling is good and they're not bumpy like some coilovers, much better for back lane blasting IMO.

Only probs is they dont look very low.

Worth a thought.

Depends what coilovers you use i suppose. If i had another clio, id have it on sportlines with uprated shocks, the handling is really good and you've got confidence to push it hard.

Coilovers may be good on track, but they seem to feel un settled on back roads. All IMO of course.

currently running fk's mate and would have to say very impressed.
feel very stable and firm when planted in corners but also very comfortable, plus you have great control on ride height and dampning.
well worth the money and would highly rcommend them

The Cobra coilies I had on my Dci lowered the car 30-70mm at the front & 30-50mm at the rear. Not too crashy at all and that was on 17s

I'm tempted to get the same set for the 172 - pity they had different fittings or I wouldn't of sold them
