Don't do it ever !!

If your with them call them during the day, that way they will understand you & you will be able to understand them - the phone line will also be normal too (none of that crackly rubbish)

Spoke to a dude the other day, £15.00 to add an aftermarket air filter to the policy (i'm thinking of a bmc cda) If I do it before mine runs out on the 10th June - if I do it after it'll be the £12.50 admin fee on top.

Called them up a minute ago, the idiot never understood what I wanted - he kept saying excess, excess :S When I literally spelt it out - he wanted £33.30 on top :S


The phone line was utterly rubbish & i've no idea if he understood. I had to hang up on them (I think they divert them to India afterhours)
I've just sent them a lovely email telling them how annoyed I am.

I will also have to call them tomorrow to see what hash the idiot on the phone has made to my policy W*nker !

Nah, elephant are always tops, never had any trouble. Normally welsh guys on there.

They aren't the cheapest at all, they are within a tenner of Greenlights quote.
I've never had a problem with Elephant at all ever (been with them for four years now) If you call at night -it's a different story.
