I have recently bought an 02 ph2 172, really pleased with it.

Just a few questions though.

The idle is a little lumpy and the clutch heavy, heard this was normal? It idles smoother than some I looked at and to be fair I have got used to the clutch.

Fairly soon I would like to change the oil/spark plugs/ht leads, what’s best to use for the 3?

Thanks in advance.

No its not blowing and the revs seem pretty steady, just feels a bit lumpy, if thats normal then fair enough.

So what about oil, sparks, ht leads, what/where from? Just standard reno stuff?

Bit of a trek for you but get it all done at Birchdown (www.birchdown.com)...

I don't work for them, but they look after all my cars.. It's a 75 mile round trip every time but well worth it as they are honest & will look after you - and you won't beat their prices either!!

Welcome to CS too... :)
