New 182 owner

  Lotus Exige, 182
Hello all

Having talked about it for a year or so, I finally bought a clio 182, FF, at the weekend - HN05HKO if anyone is interested. It's in mint condition, only done 20,000 miles and the dealer had it priced up on autotrader at much less than it should've been. I absolutely love it! :D

Only negative so far - I've already smashed the front splitter on my drive! I'm going to be inching down it from now on, otherwise I'll be completely skint.

No pix yet, but hopefully soon (when I've got a new splitter...)

Nice one mate, what colour?
I picked mine up on Thursday last week, 05 plate in silver with 35k miles.

I love it to bits!
Out of interest, what did you pay for it, just to compare to mine? PM me if you don't want it public.

By the way, get a pug 307 splitter, £35 and flexible so you'll be fine going onto the drive. Slightly awkward to fit but looks spot on, and at 1/4 of the price, a bargain!

I've PM'd you, but re the splitter - I can't modify the car in any way because the insurance premium is high enough already! But as long as the replacement has the same specs, the insurance co doesn't care, so I've gone for a streamlinecarbon one (www.streamlinecarbon.com), which comes in 2 sections so if I break it in the future hopefully only have to replace that half, looks quite good (on the ebay pics anyway) and was £40 less than the OE one!

Cool, I doubt the insurance would ever notice a different splitter, but that one will look nicer than mine!
