new 182 t.v ad

just seen the new add with the new clio 182 on the box (channel 4) thiery henry driving a silver one going on about vvt etc. it is silver and looks like it has the lower cup suspension. looks quite nice.

they used a 172 and superimposed the wheels and exhausts as there wasnt a 182 ready at the time of the advert. If your look closely at the cars wheels when it is firstr seen moving you can see they are 172 wheels!

Ive got to say the MK1 looked good(better when lowered), then the MK2 looks better cause it has bigger wheels, but the new MK3 looks Sh*t*.

Im sorry, but those wheels have no appeal what so ever, it just looks pants, boo

Lol...I would hav assumed that the can in the advert was a 182!! Just noticed the wheels at the start!

Not a fan tho...Exhaust looks a bit tacky!

IMO best looking exhaust are the Focus RS ones that Ford put on. They dont look too boy racer but mean business.

Two of those would look awesome on the 182 and if they put them coming out of the rear bumper (like V6 and new Megane turbo) would look even better

Its a pretty cool advert - very sort of jazz/blues/smokey/gruff voice/not too flash but cool advert. Creates the right sort of impression for young urban trendies.

Incidentally, it seems quite a long way away from the "classless but classy"/for all the family Nicole & Papa adverts; seems to stray from the nice middle class motor image perhaps?
