New 197 Owner

Hello folks,

Recently purchased a Clio 197 F1, mate suggested joining a forum site for general chat and advice.

The car is a dream, 2nd Clio I have owned, 1st one was in Naples, I needed summat throw around the Tangenziale.

In the last 12 months I have owned a Crossfire, A3 2.0 FSi, kind of went in blind for those but took my time over the Clio and (touch wood) I think I have made the right choice so far.

I look forward to getting to know you all.

Many thanks for all your comments folks, much appreciated.

Was parked up in Tescos earlier and this couple came over and were genuinely interested in the car, I was a bit weary at first but I could tell they were a proper genuine couple.

I then saw them walk off to there brand new SLK !!! Certainly made me smile, I never had that kind of response with the Crossfire !!!

Will be putting my private plate on it as soon as the V5 comes through.

Hope its the first of many such experiences.
