Decided to take the plunge yesterday on a new audio system for the TV, so went to Richersounds in Guildford and purchased a Yamaha RXV477 with Tannoy SFX 5.1 speakers.
Can't get over how much better it sounds than my old Sony system, especially for the price (£360).
Highly recommend them for anyone considering a new system on a budget.
