Yes you can but they look tacky IMO. Also I like the deep set position - it shields glare from the sun.

BTW - have you seen the bloody Alpine manual! Massive!!!! Plus you will need it most stuff is not obvious!

the alpines are far better than the oem stuff and the sony h/u's that ive had in the past

just bought another 9853r with the ipod interface not bad for £160 for both
