New Bike

Car  VX220
Well I have taken a deposit on the buell so went and put some money on a new bike yesterday. I had looked at three locally but they were either out my budget or were not in the best condition for the milage. So i traveled out of surrey and got a pretty good deal.
It's a 2010 bike with 956 miles on it, with ABS and the tail tidy. I also managed to get them to throw in a digi gear indicator and i have always fancied one.
Currently selling all the mods off the buell to fund parts for this...

The exhaust will be going straight away and i think it will be replaced with the beowolf GP end can and decat. I want something that will emphasise the single swing arm as well as fit with out using the rear hangers as a mounting point as they will be coming off.

Also be fitting renthal bars and bar end mirrors and a seat cowl. That should be enough to get started with. Just have to wait until the 7th of Sept to pick it up.

Yeah a fair few companies do make a belly pan, not sure on which one to go for as they are different designs.
They use the 2007 fireblade engine which is retuned to give more low down grunt and it really does pull through the rev range. Think with the exhaust it should be pushing about 135bhp.

Do like these, test rode an 09 blade Nd although it was fast and handled great ut was too much for my s**t back, that would be a much better compromise, and probably still way less than my thundercat which i can still show up the biggerbikes on :D

Great choice of bike and you cant argue withthe honda reliability!

well the buell has gone so im just about to make the trip to kent to pick up the new one! just hope the weather holds out!

So the old bike went and I picked up the new one. Probably about a 55 mile journey of just motorway riding and managed to miss the rain all the way home.
I'll be updating this thread over the next few days (well week im off to Bestival tomorrow)
Currently waiting for my Beowulf can to arrive along with some bits i bought off the honda forum like the seat cowl, smoked rear light and short levers. Any way my brother managed to snap a couple of pictures on the way home.
