New brembo HC's

I'm getting soon a pair of brembo HC on the front as my originals are nearly gone.
Question is will I have to change the pads ( OE pads at the moment) as they have plenty of life left in them.
If not will I have to bed them in to the new discs as with new pads?
Thanks!
p.s: please recommend me some pads, my heart is with the 2500's but they are quite expensive and as I've read on here I wouldn't touch the EBC stuff

2500 as what every one recommends, replace the pads at the same time if you can purely to save hassle !

  182 cup
I did the HC and 2500 at the same time, the only upgrade i made to the cup before i took her round Donnington

I was gonna say get pics of the pads up, but thats probably not possible at the moment.

Lol

All i would say really if you decide to use them again is to make sure the pad braking surface is in good condition with no lips/grooves on them etc to enable it tobe in 100 percent coverage on the disc.

If needed you can sand/file the pads flat.

hmm so 2500 then you say.. the OE pads have around 7 mm of compound left

I had HC's and DS 2500's along with braided lines and slowly getting used to them now, slow start but boy they are good when hot!

got to get new pads

i fitted the hc with the best ebc pads... just great stopping from cold .

Slight squeak at times else just the best combo for road use imo

  Dodgy one
Ive got HCs on mine with mintex 1144s, Good initial bite from cold, Once a bit warmer though i find coming up to junctions i have to ease off the brake pedal a bit as they bite more lol.

Give a bit of squeal too, However i only greased the backs of the pads and didnt fit the rubber backing!

what about the DS performance pads? are they ok for fast road driving?

You going to use it on track? If not i'd recomend the mintex for fast road, and they're half the price of the Ferodos, I think mine were £~60 delivered from Kam racing! Braided lines are so overrated too IMO
