New bumper for 172.

Just gone into the back of someone, no damage to their car but have cracked my fromt bumper, looks a bit out of shape! How much is a new one or will I be better off going through insurance??

couple of hundred for just the cover IIRC thats assuming you dont need anything else, and probably the same again to paint it so i guess it depends on A your excess and B how much it will set you back for having a claim when you renew.

Oh and as a rough guide, a new rear bumper costs £650ish, painted, fitted etc!

If its cracked you might be able to get it repaired for less if youve got all the bits.

77 01 473 753 BMPR FT PAINT £162.44 ex vat Part 1 on the drawing. It comes unpainted.
