New cambelt noise? Help please

Do newly fitted cambelts produce strange noise on idle? Like something knocking its a weird sound sorry for description lol.

Has anyone else had this?

i have this sound bit like its well not rubbing but you can here it? i think i know what you mean about the noise you cant hear it when your driving

Shouldn't do no. did you change the tensioners? if not stop running it now as we once fitted a belt on a reasonably low milage tensioner and it locked and snapped the belt. Was also noisy!
