New Camera Lens - Few Mess Around Test Shots.

  106 GTi
Recieved a new lens for the camera in the week to replace the crappy kit lens that comes with the 350D, mines full of dust already (6 months use) so not good.

A few mess around test pics. More plus some random stuff on my site!

Its Richard 3.2 off the other forum. H e was abit closer than you. And the resto he did on that white 911 was spot on!

Very sharp... I'm very impressed.

I'm using a 28-300 macro... doesn't do awnything particularly well, but it's a jack of all trades really.

I'll be in the market for something similar come September.. I'll give you a PM. :)

The orange peel is shocking, I am sure it looks worse now than when I collected it!

Someone pointed it out to me, on his RX8 - it makes your 182 look smooth in comparison.

The reviews rated it as sharp, so I went for it.

Worth a read when you have 10.

Nice one - I remember you saying that - has a great variety or range. I have the Kit 18-55 and a Sigma 70-300. Only reason for buying this was the crap quality of the standard lens. Should have in hindsight saved some cash and brought a body only. As it is the lens I use day to day I felt I was not getting the most out of the camera.

Modern paint techniques so I am told. I thought mine was as bad as it gets!

looks good, you can see in that pic of the cat the crispness of the focal depth you get on the SLR cams, something that I just can't do with my S7000, might end up getting a 350D in time, only spent 150 notes on the s7000 tho so cant complain!

i have an s7000, think it does very well...... they are liked a step down from an slr.... but at the end of the day.... SLR's are the best.

i suppose you expect them to be for the money you pay lol :D

Stunning detail, you're getting a level of quality I'm really struggling to achieve now, especially on things like the individual cat hairs (car looks great too btw!). Need an SLR but finances say a definite no.

I did the whole flowers and cat thing recently too...

Nice shots mate. You camera always gives great colours.

Animals and plants are great tests of the camera.

The SLR game is a costly business looking into a better quality longer lens now!
