New Car, few small (i hope) issues.

My brother bought a clio, test drove it wednesday, loved it, paid for it thursday. On the way home from the garage, when he presses the clutch the oil and stop lights flash, the garage are having it back tuesday, they said something is blocked ?

The other smallish problems, the rear washer jet doesnt work, he turns the 'dial' on the stalk and instead of the back spraying, the front does, and his clock will not keep the time, every time he takes the key out, it resets back to 0:00, but when the key is out it occasionally flashes.

Other than those, it drives beautifully, its a lot nicer than i expected (never owner a renault before).

And hows this for a downer ... he had owned the car for 6 hours, when some idiot smashed into the side of him, all the rear passenger panel is dented and scratched, and the door is scratched

All problems go back to the garage you bought it from (excluding crash problems of course).

Haha, i meant to post the model in the first post.

Its a T reg, 99, 1.2 something, begins with f i think ?

The guy at the garage joked about being able to sort the problems, but not the dent, it was worth a try

The claim has been sent to Admiral, just waiting for the other drivers insurers to get back to them, it shouldnt be much of a problem, the other driver admitted it was his fault to my brother, his passenger, and the police when they turned up.

Right got it, well it sounds like a problem with the electrics so force the issue at the garage, it's not on for it to go wrong 5 mins after driving off. Hope his insurance policy doesn't go through the roof mate! Hope it gets sorted
