Just found out today that my new 197 is nearly here in the UK.:D Just thinking whether to wait for a 56 plate or not.

Anyways what mods do you think should be done? I am thinking an IK and maybe we'll see on a yozzasport exhaust. Anything else?

You lucky bugger!

I've driven two 197s now and loved them both. I wonder if I can get an ex demo car...

Wait for 56 IMO. Do yozza have an exhaust for it already!? Personally the only thing I'd want to do staright away would be lower it quite a bit. Although I don't know if there are any kits out for it yet?

Jesus!! Don't ruin it by putting an IK onto it. The amount of heatsoak you get from them is immense. You will probably lose power slightly in this weather!

I think I will be waiting for the 56 plate. I just wasn't sure about letting it sit at the IC for 3 weeks. I'll listen to you all leave it standard for now anyway.

There was a post on renaultsport.co.uk by yozzasport requiring a new 197 to do the exhaust so it shouldn't be too long I hope.

Depends what IK he puts on.

I'd leave it standard for a while though, tuning companies are gonna need time to develop kit for the new car, so you want to wait until inital develpoments are finished and there is a choice of mods available.
