If you don't mind me asking what kind of mpg etc are getting?

It is from me. People who don't like SMG couldn't afford it, or haven't driven one enough to recognise it's better than a manual

On my commute to work that included stop/start driving and some motorway driving i get 26MPG. I have seen 32MPG on a long motorway run with cruise set at 75. I have also seen 8MPG

SMG has a reputaion for problems and expensive to fix but that could be internet hype and manual is far more of a driving experience.

people who slate it are the ones that have not given it chance, i have had both manual and smg and and day to day manual is better but when you want to press on the dont compare, smg can make the best of drivers look a dick until you get used to it.
nice car by the way, you looking forward to do the headgasket in the near future?? m division need a major slap as its a major flaw in what is a fantastic engine.

i have been sorted out by a fellow m3 cutter and its going to a specialist on wednesday in birmingham and being done for around 1k
at least i know it will be done right as these people have done about 5-6 m3s in the last month and are ex sytner technichian's
cant wait to get it back

I may have temporarily commandeered this vehicle last night. Not bad for a Deutsch barge. I've been in faster things tho.

I think it was a 737 on the way to Spain last time.

my m8 had an m3. was a 54 plate evo model and the smg went tits up!

was some kind of pump and was over 2k from bmw. he sold it after that. 170mph car de-restricated btw!

high pressure pumps are around 2k, they dont go often its usually the pink relay.
170mph? is that all
