New Cat Problem

Hey I have a Clio 1.2 16V 2004 Dynamatique
Having a bit of trouble with my cat...

It's rattling inside and I've been trying to locate a replacement.
On my clio, there is no flexi hose on there its just come straight up.

I've been to my local car shop and we've had trouble finding the right one.
They phoned up Renault and found that its actually not meant to have a flexi (like mine) but on ebay and other sites I can only find ones with flexi that are supposedly meant to fit my car.

But, the problem lies here -> Renault want £600 for a new cat !!!

As you can see, from the actual cat box it goes straight up, it doesn't have the S bend like the Sports Cat you have or the ones on ebay do.

Can you give advice on whether this Spots cat you have will fit or not, or any explination at all. We are confused.

I really am not paying Renault £600 for a bleeding cat just because its rattling!

Got a couple here with out the flex but most have the flex they look exactly the same

Ok, do you work for K-Tec?
If so, is that the 1.2 16v Sports Cat your talking about?
If not, are you just talking about standard cats, if so, where are you?

Does the flexi hose make the length between the manifold and cat box longer?
