New cd player

Okay, I'm looking to invest in a new CD player seems the one I have is giving me problems.

Anyway, I've got an iPhone and I'm wondering if I put one in that has front AUX input can I just get a 3.5mm - 3.5mm cable, connect the phone and the cd player together, choose the aux setting and play my phone through the speakers? :boring:

yeahh, if you look most head units are ipod ready so all you need to do is hook it up and away you go.
