New Clio front grilles

Has anyone changed the upper front grille from the standard 16v type to the 172 type or vice versa?

I want to mesh the front of my car, and as I dont want to cut up a perfectly good grille I would like to by one from a salvage yard. Therefore I need to know if the two styles of grill are interchangable.

I can supply a picture of the method of fixing of the 172 grille if someone has a 16v grille for comparison.

ive meshed mine all i did was take the grill out and fibre glass some mesh on the back looks good. bit of a pain getting grill off lots of hidden clips which attach to bumper!

Have you got any pics of this? I have a dynamique also and was wondering how to do this.
