Hi all
new to the forum. Purchased a cliosport last week to build as a track day weapon.
Will post some pictures up.
Now im bit unsure if she is a 172 or 182. Logbook says 172 but i have the 182 pipes and no spare wheel space?
Also she has rs inlet which i thought was only the 182?

no spare wheelbay....should be a 182 (non cup from the rear spoiler)

Thats what i thought but when checked says 172. Must be a ringer lol god job she only for track

If it's an '02 plate would that not suggest it's a 172 as they didn't start making the 182's until '04?

Im not sure im no clio expert thats why i come here to ask. Can you explain why there is no spare wheel place then did they do this on the 172 also?

Is it a private plate? Looks like a non-cup packed 182, but the 2002 plate suggests 172.

If it is a 2002, its a 172. Maybe someone has welded a 182 floor into the rear and fitted a 182 style exhaust...

Not sure why someone woud want to do that, but could be the case. Its 150% not a 182 if its a 2002 though mate, so bear that in mind.

Check the floor pan out on the rear and check for obvious non own welding/sealer etc.

I'd check the chassis number matches the log book to start with lol.
