its had matched inlets, decat, s/s exhaust, remap, itg filter and i'm looking into cams too so wanted something a little more reliable and rugged, plus the other half wants to use it in the summer while i'm at work so the stiffer the clutch the less she'll want to drive it lol :clown:

I used to run one of these-

Unsprung centre paddle clutch............. you were bloody brave! We don't even run those on the race cars! Paddle clutch? Oh yes - unsprung one? Not on your nelly!

LOL, this is what i did to a standard clutch--

The paddle also had an uprated clutch plate. Was a monster, was like--

No power, no power, boooooooost, change gear and then a big clunk once it engaged. Could hear it. Was immense!

Unsprung paddles are bloody harsh on the rest of the drivetrain though. You tend to need the bit of give a sprung center gives you to smooth the delivery of torque to the box during rapid gear changes.

The sprung 4 paddle clutches we developed for the X85 endurance car are pretty impressive. Several thousand gear changes and 24 hours of racing and it came out looking as good as it went in!

Ahhh the old techniclutch. Im pretty much certain they are just standard but painted red. One guy bought an "organic" clutch kit from them, didnt last more than 1000miles. Others have had no problems.

I know people who've fitted red techniclutch clutches that wont take standard power (not clios BTW), so i dont think they're stock re-painted. Cheap chinese tat
