Just got my new ((free from Renault)) contis on. Wow! what a diffo, its slower from standing due to extra traction but is faster once at speed, accelerating. The grip is miles better and for some unknown reason the dips in my performance seem to have vanished.. like 3-4k in 2nd. Havent cornerd hard due to the weather at the mo but seems much better.. turning out of a familular junction i usually find it hard not to stray into the other side of the road, now i stay on the right side! again weird but i can reach higher speeds easily.
...Before i was having my teeth rattled out by my Mitchis to a point where i was unhappy with the cars ride quality ((it felt wrong, not fluid enough to drive)), also was crashing into potholes, dangerous considering they usually crop up at speed on a corner... now its quieter inside and it feels more damped over poor surfaces it isnt upset by poor surfaces and i can honestly say that i can cover more ground in a shorter space of time with these on.
