New discs don’t seem too fit

Just got new front discs and pads for my clio 2 1600 16V. Not putting them on coz when I measured the new discs they are 10mm smaller in diameter than the standard ones and the pad in the original calliper seems to only cover have of the new disc braking surface. Does anyone know if this ok - the invoice said that the part no. was for a Renault 5GT ??? Help - is the clio2 1600 16V the same as the 5GT. I mean the sics fit but Im worried that they dont sit flush with the claiper now.

It looks like youve been given clio 1 16v discs as the early one shared the same set up as the 5gtt, take them back and them exchanged
