I thinking of buying a new f4r engine for the my 182 how much are they and where can I purchase one from

dude you want a new engine? havent you just spent £1300 on yours?

anyway, keep your eyes on ebay, prices vary between £400>£1000 depending on condition etc

trouble is you never know what you are getting, its a risk

failing that get in touch with MATTBLACK on here he works at a reno breakers

then you have to think about fitting (more exp with air con) charges > new head gasket, cambelt kit, aux belt, clutch etc etc etc

a NEW factory engine for a 182 (F4R 738) is £3500+vat

interestingly a F4R 736 (172 cup) is £3340+vat

Breather setup, inlet manifold, crank (ish), engine number ;-)

i phoned renault last year they said for a 172 its 2900 service exchange with just the block and head and the internals no manifolds etc
