Just fitted a new sportex exhaust. I wasnt expecting much difference in performance, and well, at first I though there wasnt any. Acceleration seams to be pretty much the same.
What I did notice after a few miles of driving is that where the power used to drop of very sharply @ 5500rpm, I can now rev all the way to 6000rpm and it still pulls nicely. So my £150 was not wasted.
Now I just need to get a steering rack, idle speed control valve, electrical problem sorted and I can start on cosmetics.
Its been a huge uphill battle with my car. Ive spend over £2500 on it in the last year just to fix it up and keep it on the road.
Im still undecided over selling it and buying a valver. If I was to do that I still need to fix the problems with it to get a decent price, but after I have fix all that stuff then my car will be fine and Ill have spent all that money on it!!
