New exhaust. What should i get?

Car  Renault Clio 172 Sport
Im looking to buy a new cat-back exhaust for my 172 as the exhaust is blowing a treat, and id like a better sound/power gain.
My max price is about £350ish.
Whats the best exhaust i can get for that money??
 
KTEC. any chance of putting a group buy together like the coilies

i wouldnt mind a recessed supersports but not at that price :rasp:

Yeah those are the two i was thinking of really lol, ive got coillies so i want one that is isnt gna scrape that easily.
Btw whats happened to the yozzasport website??
 
My yozza has never once scrapped and my car is slammed as low as possible on the rear on fk's. My standard system on the other hand would scrape on absolutely everything imaginable.

Yozza has stopped trading, you have to go through Fred@btm or find a used one :-)
 
i think a new yozza is £400 plus, unless you dont mind a 2nd hand one (if you can find one)

do you want stealth or recessed?

Oh right, would prefer a recessed 1 defo. Might have to get a decat too in a couple months.
 
The KTech stealth has RR proven gains, backed up by a PFC write up. Haven't seen anything from the others yet.

Even though it is a bit loud.
 
Too late now mate lol, shudve popped in with ur opinion earlier and swayed me in the direction of the stealth.
 
Just about to buy myself a system, think this thread has got me into a recessed :) But to silence decat??? or not??
 
Just came back from a local garage who fitted my Ktec supersport. I am really really impressed. The build quality of the exhaust is awesome, the fitment is awesome and the sound is perfect for me! Really impressed. The guy at the garage was really impresed with how easy it was to fit too.

Nice, youve certainly made me confident in my purchase, how much was fitting at your local garage mate? And did they cut the bumper for you etc. ?

bit late for my opinion but i went demon tweeks n they made a new powerflow system up to how i wanted it n they even knocked £50 off
 
Didn't need to touch my bumper because it was a replacement for a standard 182 exhaust. They charged me £45 for fitting. and they also said it was one of the easiest aftermarket exhausts he has ever done. He was so chuffed he was gonna gte one for his son haha!
 
Garages are being a bit annoying about it, keep saying "its not something we usually do" etc. Does anyone know of any surefire places who will do it, or how easy would it be to do myself?
 
Got it on now, fitted. I swear smins rong tho, ive only jus started up and driven it but i dont have as much power at all, is this like a wearing in period or is smin rong? Im not very good with cars so i dnt reli know lol

Im not that good with cars either but you should'nt have a power loss with fitting the exhaust could be something blocking a pipe

I have had a ktec stealth system fitted for about 4 or 5 years now and it still looks perfect and has an excellent sound to it especially on the overun
