Facebook haven't yet acquired instagram. Instagram is also aimed at a specific target market so I assume this is aimed at the masses. There's a good article on the app on BBC news and what it means on relation to the instagram takeover.

Ah, I thought they did actually have instagram now... This does look exactly the same though
