New Guy Intro & Help Please With Parts? :)

Hi Guys,

My names Sam im 20 and iv been driving my 2005 Clio 182 for aprox 7 months now. Priously i owned a lovely Honda S2000. Finally came across this forum. Like the car but got a few questions im hopeing some1 can help with.

1. Can you get replacments for the steering wheel rubber gribs?
2. Can you get replacment Gear Knob?
3. How the F**k do you get the gear knob off?
4. Is there anyway to get any more juice out of the 182 without crazy costs?

Hi.

1) Renault I presume or K-Tec sell carbon ones.
2) Yup.
3) Force. Lots of it.
4) Depends on your version of crazy really. But getting over 200BHP costs thousands..

The gear knob is moulded on, very few people have managed to get it off without massacring it. Hack saw is the norm.

Thanks for the reply mate, anyone know the part number for the rubber grips or gear knob? And to the performance part I wanted to idealy get a new cat back exhaust and air filter, any recommendations?

An S2000 at 19/20?! I bet the insurance for that was mental. I disregarded the S2000 early on (even tho I really want one) cos its a c**t to insure and I'm 33 with maxed out NCB.

i managed to brute force mine off, i know someone who had 201 out of a 172. performance mods may include a remap, chip, decat etc
