rumor of a new HTC One X + or somet, bigger battery and 1.7gig processor.

Yep, this short be out shortly, not much of change to the One x really though. There are rumours of prices coming down too to keep HTC competetive with Samsung if true I might go for one, if not I'll hold out a bit longer til the next HTC flagship phone.

The updated version of the one x sounds good for me like. The one x is the one I'm after anyway at the mo. shame t mobile don't do it in white

There's going to be a HTC One XL and have 4G, got no info on release date and spec, even looked on HTC website and nowt

TM stores look to be getting them in today ready for the EE launch, I'll grab a photo of the spec list on the back if I get a chance.

One XL 4G is 4.7inch screen, 1.5GHz Dual Core, 1GB RAM, 32GB storage, 8MP rear 1080p, 1.3MP front and normal BT, wifi and GPS.

It looks the exact same spec as the X other than the 4G, I'm very much hoping they do a white in it on EE / T mobile network, are they?

It's the same as the US version (UK One X has quad core, US LTE One X has Dual core). We only received the black ones in I'm afraid, TM seem useless at getting different coloured variants of the handsets.

The One X 5 sounds good that they are talking about. Screen is going to be around 480ppi too which should be epic!

just seen on Twitter gadget show says the One X+ isn't going to have 4G in the UK which is a very big shame. Looks like i'll be sticking to the One XL or the X5 when ever that gets released in the UK

Here is the HTC One X+ The same as the One X (which is a pretty good phone as it is) with extra goodies, sadly no 4g atm
That x5 picture looks b****cks lol, the top of it is the iphone 4/5 with htc stuck on it.

I'm not sure why people are so fussed about 4G. HSPA+ 42mbps is plenty fast for a phone surely? Let's be honest, on a (home network) PC once you get past 20mb you can't tell the difference unless you're downloading or streaming, but even streaming full HD stuff it never catches up. I can understand people wanting 100mb for their broadband, I tend to download a lot of movies on my desktop so that would be great, but I've never once thought my phone has been anywhere near slow when on a HSPA+ network, it's faster than my home broadband which is instant anyway!

Am I missing something here or is the whole 4G thing just a bunch of willy waving? Genuine question.

I've got a Sensation and the other half has a One X. Both are brilliant apart from battery life but the same as other sartphones. Really wouldnt be bothered about 4G, HSPA+ is plenty fast enough and downloading songs and 20min pornos is very quick.

unfortunately not.

How's that then?

When my phone has a weak signal and drops down to 3g from hsdpa+ it still gives me greater speeds than when I used to have a 2G phone with a good signal. Surely the same will apply?
The LTE (4G) signals are also meant to travel further than than 3G so it should mean less weak spots in the first place (once it's fully up and running that is).

Don't forget HTC are bringing out some pretty interesting looking Windows Phone 8 devices soon...

Too f**king huge for me though. Was hoping HTC would bring out a phone to rival the 5 in performance AND size, but it seems all their phones are just massive.

This tbh. Everyone seems to think bigger is better atm. Maybe if you're watching movies every day, but I have a TV for that.

I find bigger is better for everything because you can get more content on the screen rather than scrolling around all the time. Web browsing, emails, photos, all of these are a better experience on a bigger screen. Just like PC Monitors and TVs, most people go for bigger for more enjoyment.

As long as your thumbs still fit the keyboard and the phone still fits in your pocket comfortably then there is no downside.
