New Laptops for work - options and opinions please?

  BMW e46 320 Ci Sport
Guys

we're a dell house and have been given the following options.

1) E4200 is a 12.1” screen but it comes as standard with a Solid State drive. I have included a link below to the relevant tech specs;

2) E4300 is a slightly bigger screen at 13.3” but is slightly closer in terms of overall spec and price to the D430;

what do you guys think would be better for general presentations, portability, word processing, internet browsing. Certainly not much intenseive stuff. Price diff is neglible either way but they're both about £950.

Thoughts? i'm not sure if the SSHDD would be worth more in terms of performance with the slower chip than the regular HDD witha quicker chip.

my only concern there would be the 1.2/1.4 ghz processor....sounds pretty slow. How you finding it in terms of performance? if you had the choice what would you go for?

bnaring in mind the later has a 2.2/2.4ghz proc and 7200rpm drives.

me neither id go for one of the higher series but if i wanted a small one then the 4200 its copes with his salesman needs very well viewing drawings, presentations, exchange email, remote access etc

Dell pish!

I got given a shiny new T500 (Thinkpad) at work when I joined... it'd probably survive a nuclear blast
