Hello to everyone at cliosport
just joined so I thought I'd say hello and tell a little bit about the motor.
Renault clio 197 f1 R27 in deep black. 57 reg.
I've owned it now approximately 1 year and in time I've done a few things with it, firstly as drivers seat was starting to wear on the seat base bolster, I removed it and took to a local retrimmer and had it repaired, great job done as he used to be trim development engineer with AstonMartin, got the colour match near perfect not bad for £85.
Next up was to find a new steering wheel as mine was suffering from the common fault of melt, it was not to bad but just brought the car down so had to be done, this was from ebay not bad at £140 and with then selling mine back on ebay got £60 back.
Next to be done was the service and this ment all belts a pulleys to be done, got this done at a friends garage so didn't get hit to bad.
Wheels needed doing so removed all four, removed the tyres cleaned them all up and sent them t o be refurbed, now look much better.
Not much on the modification front just and itg filter, but looking into maybe going for maxogen, exhaust and h&r's.
